Social media strategy for disaster recovery nonprofit

Problem
Our Front Porch, a nonprofit in Denver focused on helping survivors of home fires reestablish themselves, wanted help analyzing their social media engagement and developing a strategy to increase awareness of their organization in the Denver metro area.

My Approach
I pooled Meta audience and engagement data to create a comprehensive picture of Our Front Porch’s followers and what they respond to. With this data, I recommended types of posts to focus on and follower personas to focus on.

What makes my work unique?
I don’t just do a generic social media audit — I look at each post individually to tag them with a topic or theme, and use data to highlight which themes get the most engagement and views.

Results & Impact
Since we worked together, OFP has had seen higher engagement and shares on many of their Facebook posts, helping spread awareness of their organization’s mission.
