Problem
A small consumer tech company wanted to understand their consumer base’s interests, motivations, and needs.

My Approach
I combined in-app activity data with a survey I developed to identify four distinct user personas. With this data, I prepared a companywide presentation about the four user types and recommended a strategy to focus on one highly-engaged user type.

What makes my work unique?
I ask questions beyond the data that’s already available to augment findings with qualitative insights.

Results & Impact
Since focusing on the most engaged user type, this company has seen a 50% improvement in user retention and engagement rates.
